Grain-fed beef from Namibia

The cattle from Namibia roam freely within the reservations and spend their lives among the other wild animals that live here. The animals are a cross between four different breeds. Two local varieties, namely the Bonsmara and the Brahman and two European varieties, the Limousin and Simmental. The crossing of these varieties has led to an optimization of the taste and tenderness of this meat. In the last 90 days, the cattle are fed with a grain diet, so that the meat becomes more marbled and therefore more flavorful.

The cattle are slaughtered after two years and the carcasses are processed in a state-of-the-art deboning facility. The combination of the dry climate and the highly hygienic way of working ensures that the meat can be kept for no less than six months.

Iberdeli have the most important cuts of beef from Namibia available all year round.
